The ANZ Phu My Bridge ‘Phun Run’ was held on Sunday, 6 September 2009.
A huge thank you to the +3,500 participants who helped raise over VND350M for the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Loreto Vietnam Australia Program.
There were some fantastic costumes on display with those judged best dressed receiving prizes from California Wow, Flight Travel Co, Sunway, InterContinental Asiana Saigon, Victoria Hotels & Resorts, tiNiWorld and Golden Rose Travel. Live entertainment from MC Thanh Bach, Tang Thanh Ha, Bad Neighbor, local DJs and the GroupX team from California Wow also added to the festivities. Weekly Run
Each week we meet up at 7am sharp outside Gloria Jeans at 131-133 Dong Khoi, District 1. From there we usually take the Thu Thiem Ferry across to District 2 for a scenic run of approximately 60 minutes before returning for breakfast at Juice at 49 Mac Thi Buoi Street, District 1 at approximately 8:30 am. Some weeks we mix it up with runs over on Thanh Da Island ... a beautiful little patch of paradise across the river from Thao Dien.
